COVID-19 Update
Customer guidelines for work to be carried out in properties
On the day of the work, we will call or text ahead to ask if the customer or any occupants have signs of the virus, have been diagnosed, or are self-isolating, and to check that they are comfortable for our visit to take place.
Please do not shake hands with the engineer.
We ask if the occupants can stay in another room, away from the work area(s) whilst the work proceeds, if the engineer asks please ventilate the work area where appropriate, e.g. by opening a window.
The engineer will be wearing gloves, and possibly a face-covering mask. Please don’t be alarmed.
The working area(s) where the engineer is to be working must be cleaned down. Free of any objects.
Refreshments. We will still like to have a cup of tea or coffee if asked. But our engineers will be using their own cup/mug.
Our engineers would like to use your facilities to wash they hands, they will use their own soap and towels.
We will not ask you to sign any work sheets or Gas/Oil service sheets. A copy can been sent to an email address within 2 working days if requested.
Please disinfect all door handles and surfaces once we have left.
Our Engineers will instantly leave if they suspect anyone in the property has any symptoms of the coronavirus, which have not been communicated to us before arrival.
All our engineers will be have their temperature tested before the start of work each day, and will not be allowed to work if showing symptoms of Coronavirus.
Should any engineer show symptoms of the Coronavirus before/during work then the work will/maybe postponed for 2 weeks or until the symptoms have ended.
If our engineers contacts us with any concerns about working in your property due to the coronavirus, we will ask him not to return to work until we have investigated his concerns with yourselves to assess the danger to yourselves or them.
We will endeavour to keep you informed of every step of any response situation as soon as reasonably possible.
